Dr. Michelle Morrissey completed her surgical training at the Hahnemann University Hospital/ Drexel College of Medicine residency program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During her three year residency, Dr. Morrissey gained experience in complex forefoot and rearfoot/ ankle reconstruction, sports medicine and diabetic wound care/limb salvage.
Originally from South Florida, Dr. Morrissey received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami, Florida. Previously, she graduated from Mercer University with a B.S in Biology. Dr. Morrissey has worked with prominent academic and community podiatric surgeons in both Philadelphia and Delaware. She has been awarded scholarships for additional training in lower extremity reconstruction in Baltimore, Maryland and has experience rotating at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is able to treat a variety of foot and ankle pathology in both adults and children.
Dr. Morrissey brings a fresh perspective to Indian Valley Podiatry and is looking forward to addressing the unique concerns of each of her patients and is also fluent in English and Spanish.
