Adam Matthews, DPM, one of the podiatrists at Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Clinic, is passionate about his ability to offer patients relief from pain that can otherwise prove debilitating. He brings specialized training to the treatment of foot and ankle trauma and pathology.
The practice has six convenient locations: in Thayne and Jackson in western Wyoming; and in Pocatello, Soda Springs, Montpelier, and Idaho Falls in southeastern Idaho.
Dr. Matthews graduated with a Bachelor of Science in zoology from Idaho State University in Pocatello in 2005. His time in Pocatello included other memorable events, starting with meeting and marrying his wife, Krista Howard. Also, her father, Dr. Kert Howard, introduced him to the world of podiatry.
Next, Dr. Matthews moved to North Chicago, Illinois, to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his surgical residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he received intense training in the treatment of foot and ankle trauma and pathology.
